About PAC

What is Presidents Advisory Committee?

Members of a Presidents Advisory Committee enjoy these experiences:
  • Monthly meetings with fellow business leaders to collaborate on strategies and current issues
  • Individual coaching sessions with an experienced business professional
  • A Speaker Series that provides opportunities for growth and learning
  • Reassurance that comes from being part of a group that is committed to your well-being
  • Membership in The Entrepreneurship Institute (TEI), a national organization providing a network of top professionals and the annual Presidents Forum

Monthly Meetings

One day each month, you will sit with a group of like-minded business leaders to work together on:
  • Issues of the day — Members give Monthly Updates, during which they can present a current issue that is impacting their business.
  • Strategic Reviews — 2-3 times per year, every member will have the opportunity to work with the PAC on his or her long-term goals.

Coaching

Every quarter, you will have an opportunity to meet with your committee’s facilitator, who is an experienced business professional. This is your time to:
  • Use the facilitator as you would a consultant to work through business problems.
  • Prepare your issues or strategic reviews for presentation to the council.
  • Vent. Do you ever need to “get something off your chest” with someone who understands your business?

Speaker Series

Throughout the year, keynote speakers will present to the committee on relevant topics, from nuts-and-bolts business processes to personal development options.

Networking

You will have ongoing opportunities to network in larger groups, including TEI’s annual Presidents Forum.
  • Find new customers
  • Discover new providers
  • Create new strategic partnerships

Survey

In September 2004, 69 CEOs were surveyed at the Presidents Symposium in Oakbrook, Illinois. Among many topics, CEOs were asked about their opinions of peer groups.
  • 72% of survey respondents said that participation in a peer network roundtable is valuable or very valuable. However, 83% of the respondents do not belong to a peer group roundtable.
  • PAC offers a unique opportunity to CEOs who value the peer network roundtable experience.
